State of The Art

Friends, Romans, comfy men! Let me borrow your ears...

(That's how that goes, right?)

Soooooo...this happened...

YES! I [finally] got my new computer! (Doesn't it fit nicely on my desk?) Sitting sad and alone on the left there is the old lappy. It's ok, it is definitely time for him to be sent to the pasture of Video Streaming While I Make Art on the Better Computer. He's been good to me.... But look how shiny the new one is!!!!! And by "shiny" I mean so much faster and updated and...wow. My full version of Photoshop comes next week, so soon (once I learn real Photoshop...) we (me) will be in business to make some serious art making business. That didn't make sense.

I haven't worked much on the webcomic recently, although Ben and I have a launch date set (I think - wait, did we change that, Ben? We should really nail that down...again). On the old laptop, it was so slow that I really couldn't do anything more than simple line drawing, so that's been shelved a little until I can work on a machine that doesn't sound like an asthmatic 13 year old doing the Presidential Fitness trials. And HEY! Now I have one! So I'm looking forward to getting back to the story, because in the scheme of things, I haven't even scratched the surface. (....insert mild panic attack here.)

I have a few other projects going on right now, as well. A painting (almost done), a mural (proposed), some logo's I need to redesign.... basically I have a lot of art to be making. AND I LOVE IT!!!
